Slow Shopping Days in Bath
I’ve just attended a Lansdown Dementia Action Alliance Meeting, of which I’m a member, and was asked to publicise two dates to our residents.
Bath businesses and charities have come together to provide extra welcome in the city for shoppers with additional needs this Christmas. This coincides with World Kindness Day on Wednesday.
Between 10am and 12noon, on Wednesday 13th and Wednesday 20th November, people with dementia and other invisible disabilities and their carers are being made extra welcome in Bath for compassionate Christmas shopping days.
That’s a wonderful iniative. I’m impressed by Morrison’s quiet time on Saturday mornings too. This seems to be running. Dimmer lights, no pop music. A calmer shopping experience for anyone that finds it overwhelming.
