EASTER FUN THIS WEEKEND!
Hello everyone and happy Monday!!! Easter is this Sunday, April 5th and we can’t wait! The sun is shining this morning and we are hoping it will last until Sunday.
In case you haven’t guessed yet, the CRA’s Easter Egg Decoration Extravaganza around the neighbourhood is kicking off again this weekend!
We invite you to join us in continuing this tradition every year in Camden. It’s a creative and fun thing that spreads a lot of cheer in the community, and hopefully this year will be the best yet!
The idea is simple – find things around your house and use them to create easter eggs, Spring scenes, bunnies or whatever you like.
Adorn your creations to the front of your house or gate.
On Easter morning, if you wish, you could also put out some little treats for the neighborhood children to find! Then stroll along and take in everyone’s amazing creations.
People of all ages love this unique easter egg “hunt” and there are some in our community who count the eggs every year to see if we can beat our previous high score of 334 eggs! It’s a wonderful, lovely thing that lifts everyone’s spirits.
There is also an easter egg scavenger hunt at The Claremont (details below) that you could finish off your Easter stroll with!
Here’s a reminder of what our resourceful residents did in 2020 – the first year Camden decided to do the egg hunt!

Kick off your Easter long weekend with us!
We are opening Easter celebrations in our fireside lounge with the brilliant Mike Walsh — acoustic guitarist, singer‑songwriter and rapper with a repertoire of over 500 songs across a huge genre range.
Expect upbeat tunes, sing‑along favourites and the kind of feel‑good energy that gets the whole pub moving. Start your Easter weekend the right way: great music, great company, and a proper Claremont atmosphere.
If the weather plays ball, we’ll throw open the terrace doors for that warm spring‑evening vibe.
Thursday 2nd April From 8pm Free entry
Grab some friends, come early, get cosy, and let’s make it a cracking start to the long weekend.
Come join us this Easter at the Claremont we have a host of events to keep you entertained, starting with….
Thursday – Live Music with Mike Walsh at 8pm until late
Friday – all day we have Easter theme colouring in books for the kids and a Golden Egg Lucky Dip for the Adults, by a round get a chance to win!
Saturday – all day we will have craft packs for both adults and children to keep you entertained and games on the terrace (weather permitting)
Sunday – Scavenger Easter Egg hunts at 11am and 5pm, bookings required for both events.
Monday – OPEN HOURS 12noon to 9pm – DJ Dave playing all the summer dance hits on the Terrace.
All weekend….
Guess the number of eggs in the jar £1 a go, winner takes the jar! announced on Monday at 4pm!
