Save the dates for Camden events!

With the autumn sunshine beginning to give way to snow (!), we thought it was time to start looking forward to some of the great events we have in the pipeline for us to enjoy together as a community.

Franky at The Claremont has organised a great wreath-making afternoon on Nov 30th – we love rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in with dried flowers, berries, various branches (and mulled wine)! Let’s decorate Camden’s front doors with our fabulous creations. Buy tickets here!

Make sure you take a stroll down to Camden Meadow, recently put to bed for the winter by the indefatigable Meadow Group – the bees are resting in their hives, the grass is beautifully strimmed, everything is ship-shape and waiting for the Christmas lights! These should go up in early December so keep your eyes out!

Our annual AGM for the Camden Residents Association has been moved from November to 27th January so that more people will be able to attend. (Anyone else struggling to fit everything in this month? So many great things going on!) We will be hosting it at The Claremont and it should be a fun evening. We’ll formally elect the committee for next year, recap 2024, let you know about the activities we’ve been undertaking that you may not know about and chat about the year ahead. There will most likely be a discussion about some of the local issues set to make headlines in 2025, more news on that to come as we solidify our plans. We have booked out the whole of the Claremont for the evening!

Everyone’s favourite Progressive Supper will return on March 1st, organised by our very own hostess with the mostess, Carrie. Last year was a wild success – so as soon as we have the email form up and running we will send it out to everyone. If you are unfamiliar with the concept, it is basically a neighborhood-wide dinner party! You have your starter at one house, your main course at another, and then everyone comes together for a pudding party on Camden Crescent. You can host a course or just come along for the ride.

And much further ahead, put a note in your diaries for the annual Spring Party on May 25th! It will look a little different this year, but promises to bring all the usual fun we have had over the past three years.
