Change of CRA Chair
At the AGM, last November, I stated my intention to make this my last year as Chair. One part of my remaining work would be to find an excellent successor. I’m delighted to say that this was achieved quite quickly after Christmas when fellow committee member, John Long, approached me. There were then good reasons to bring forward the handover to this May and happily the committee voted it through unanimously on 28th February.
From a constitutional point of view, John will be the ‘Acting Chair’ until the AGM in November this year. From a functional perspective he will take over from me at the committee meeting next Monday, 23rd May. I will remain on the committee until November.
We’ve got some very exciting times ahead with:
- the Camden Jubilee Celebration on Sunday 5th June (look out for a flyer through your door from John and the team),
- the real prospect of some safety improvements on Camden Road
- and, yes, perhaps the goats back very soon.
Jeremy Labram.
Thank you for all your time and effort Jeremy. I’m sure it’s been frustrating at times.
Many thanks, Nicky. The frustratingly slow progress on creating a safer street for walking and cycling is still ‘my bag’!
Thank you, Jeremy! All the very best. Welcome John! 👏
Thanks, Richard.
Have vague intentions to get my flute out or learn the guitar – but don’t hold your breath!
Thanks for everything you’ve done Jeremy (and your patience and determination) in terms of helping make this an effective community that can take action to improve things and of course good luck to John.
Thanks, Michael. Very much appreciated.
