Camden puts some twinkle on
Here’s a picture of the market in our namesake, Camden, in London
The new committee met in full, for the first time since the AGM last month. Apart from setting priorities for the next year, we were wondering how we could add a little extra cheer to our limited Christmas this year.
We remembered the brilliant Easter decorations during full lockdown when, I am reliably informed, 334 eggs were displayed along the street by Easter Sunday.
It is much colder and darker now so could we do something sparkly in our front windows, yards and gardens? We could limit it to the 23rd December until the 27th. I’m told there are small sets of LED lights at the Guildhall market and there’s still time to order on-line. The ‘palm tree house’ near Camden Crescent has already strung some lights between its trees.
