TV Licences for the over 75s – scam

I’m grateful to Chris Smith for passing on this warning from Avon and Somerset Police.

From this month, those over 75 and used to getting a free TV licence will also have to be in receipt of the Government’s pension credit. Some scammers are using this period of change and confusion to prey on the unwary.
