Quiet Camden – a low traffic neighbourhood?
This is was the title of a blogpost from nearly a year ago. So before you think that the CRA has been completely dilatory and not achieved anything in the meantime, read on a little! Here’s an 18 month timeline:
We need all the impetus and support we can get now, particularly as we need to make ‘active travel’ (walking and cycling) as safe and pleasant as possible. If you haven’t already, please sign up here to our campaign – 135 have already. We’ll be starting to provide specific options and ideas in bite-sized chunks for residents’ consideration, so please join in the debate with 224 other residents and subscribe to this site (the facility to do this is on the righthand side of every web page on this site) and please ask your neighbours to do likewise.
Help and Support is working well in Camden
Happy Birthday to one of our older Camden residents – Tony Saunders has lived in his Camden Crescent apartment for 50 years. Turning a youthful 94 this week Tony came along to neighbour Louise for an outdoor socially distancing coffee and cup cake and was joined by his shopping helper Janus Intelmann, also a Crescent resident and Bath University graduate. Congratulations Tony! If you also need help then please go to the top right of every page and you’ll see a link.
Hot off the press this morning from the Government:
“Keep our distance, wash our hands, think of others and play our part. All together”.
Reported on the Telegraph web-site – can’t find it elsewhere. Government ads to this effect are starting to appear.
