Big round of applause to the NHS
Here‘s the clapping in Belsize Park London taken from my daughter’s fourth floor flat balcony. She’s shielded. Jeremy

Look forward to hearing the Camden roar in four hours time!
And a message from Louise on our requesters and volunteers scheme….
This is the first update email to let you know how our important local initiative is currently working.
We now have 55 names on our database which includes a small number of residents reporting that they need help now, or may do so in the near future. We have also added in volunteers from the Third Sector Group (3SG) with their permission, whose postcodes lie within our patch, to avoid duplication of effort so please do not be disheartened by the low response to date, it’s just that requests are fairly low at the moment and we are pairing requests and offers of help by close proximity wherever possible. Remember that many people are reluctant to ask for help. Far better that it is offered. We all expect things to change in the next week or two.
All I can say is that was amazing! I cried and felt very loved. Thank you. Hope all the other NHS workers in our neighbourhood felt the same. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Great stuff! I think there were fireworks down our end. St Stephen’s bells were to be tolled and dressed in blue light. Have a check tonight – it might remain so. My daughter in Hampstead, London (a few hundred yards from the Royal Free) is shielded in a one bed-flat and sent through a brilliant video of 8pm last night. I’ll try and make it available. Jeremy
