Happy New Year
Four topics today:
Oslo, the wandering cat, has gone missing again. He hails from the SW end of Camden. Do please check your sheds and out-buildings for him. Any news – please email [email protected].
Get your bike marked and registered on Friday 31st January, 10am till 3pm at Green Park Station. A marked bike deters thieves and reunites bikes with their owners across the country. Details here.
Our campaign for a Low Traffic Neighbourhood is now underway with a small group of us working to really get it moving now. The first big event is the one we mentioned in our last post before Christmas – a talk from an expert at the Guildhall on Tuesday 28th January at 7:30pm. Tickets here. Just checked – they’ve sold out – maybe there will be a bigger venue found or some sort of live cast facility made available. Worth checking from time to time and we’ll post any news we hear about.
The Council seems to be revamping their web-site, with some of it ‘in beta’. They are saying:
We’re making it easier and faster for you to access your council services online. We’re also redesigning all of the content, with your needs in mind, as we transfer it to the new website.
The newsroom bit is quite eye-catching and gives you a weekly email if you subscribe. Click here to see it.

The Council’s ‘Corporate Strategy 2020-24‘ is available to read here and there is an opportunity to feedback and more importantly offer your own ideas in a simple four page survey. You’ve only got until 24th of January to do this. Click here for details. The Committee will do one on behalf for the CRA.
The wanderer returns! Thanks for the posting Jeremy, it seemed to have worked yet again. Clearly I’ve no idea where he’s been, but he did come home hungry so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was accidentally locked in a shed or something. Perhaps he just enjoys an occasional adventure?
And it was lovely to get messages of support too. All the best
Steve
