New Monthly Police Report
Nigel and I were at the FoBRA (Federation of Bath Residents’ Association) ‘Drinks Do’ yesterday evening. There was quite a mix there of local councillors and Cabinet members, both University Vice Chancellors, reps from many of the residents associations and the police. Three main points from me to pass on:
- Quick chat with Mark Shelford on Camden traffic and the CAZ – no difference to the outcomes set out in our earlier post here.
- Looks like both universities might have reached ‘peak student’, which would indicate that there need not be much more new build student accommodation. In fact there was talk of making some student accommodation available as affordable housing for younger non-students.
- Local policing is getting more visible – out of cars and onto bikes. Here’s the first example of a really informative local newsletter to be produced. Click here
I found this report from the local Police very interesting and reassuring – thank you
Thanks, Nigel. Always good to get comment and feedback.
