Local Heroes

Great efforts from Chris, Bob, Les, ‘Rosiflo’, Mimi, Jeremy, Matt, Janet, Nigel, and many others…. to remove slippery hazards for those walking along our streets and pavements and in some cases digging people out of their houses by clearing their front paths.
Acting Snow Warden for Camden, Chris Smith, reports that we have received many thank yous from residents and passers by, including one lady who had previously fallen & hurt her head.

Please now let Chris (at 10UCP) know if you need fresh stocks of salt bags for next time.
Jeremy, Chair
And thanks to Danny in Upper Hedgemead Road
Thanks, Nigel.
Alan and Justin cleared the snow from the road on Belgrave Crescent (Eastern end) and I was extremely grateful to be able to get my tiny car out!
Chris needs to hand on the baton for next winter. We’re looking for volunteers to take on his leadership. It’s a short, sharp duty relying upon a little bit of preparation to have the salt stationed in the right place. We’d be delighted to hear from anyone – just respond to this comment.
