Summer Refreshment
We’ve taken our rather drab traffic-filled blog and turned it into a more refreshing site which showcases our lovely neighbourhood – one which which we are keen to make ever better for those lucky enough to live here or nearby.
Yes, traffic congestion, air pollution, noise and speeding are important to us but so are the views, the front gardens and the architecture. We’re very grateful to Neill Menneer for letting us use his photographs on every page. All the website work this year has been done by volunteers, as is everything we do.
Our weekly posts continue to appear in reverse chronological order on the home page but now display the illustration and the first few lines of text of the post. We hope you like the change as much as we do and will follow our site by subscribing. See the righthand column of the page to do this.
We have also been covering the heart-warming work done by the Friends of Hedgemead Park and will be using this site to get Wild Camden moving again and to improve the look of the streets with regular litter-picking groups. We also managed to squeeze an article into the Local Look magazine in August.
Finally we’ve been readying ourselves for a lively Autumn with the Council announcing its Clean Air Plan and our AGM on 22nd November.
