Picnic in Hedgemead Park
The 15th July is potentially a big day for the nation. England crowned as FIFA World Cup winners and Andy Murray racing around like a two year old and defeating Kyle Edmund in the Wimbledon mens singles final.
Well we can dream… However there is a ‘cast iron’ opportunity to join others with a similar liking for the beautiful and well kept Hedgemead Park at lunch time.
Bring your own picnic and swap stories and dishes.
Members of the Camden Residents Association will be there and glad to talk to you about your likes and concerns.
And here was a photo of the picnic!
And today, Friday 20th July, the eagle was landed atop the refurbished iron Victorian ornamental drinking fountain, fresh from the Iron Art workshop…
I’ll be there, and hopefully so will the Fountain Eagle be back from his refurbishment .
I’m sure others from the CRA Committee will be there to join you both!
I am disappointed not to be able to come to this – I shall be away. have a great time Pam

Very welcoming event. Thank you so much for providing the food and drink, and to Keith and the team for setting it up. There was time to talk ‘traffic and the CAZ’ with Cllr Richard Samuel and FoBRA transport lead, Patrick Rotheram.
Thanks to all who came along. It was good fun and hopefully all enjoyed it.
Our Eagle is due to fly home on Friday 20th July.
